Mechanical Design Engineer
Even though I have a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, I have always been interested in electronics and their components. While searching for a position, I came across Casco, whose focus is primarily electronics and power outlets for the automotive OEM’s. I thought this is a place where I can use my mechanical design skills to design and follow my passion towards electronics by designing power outlets. After I joined the company, I can honestly say that I have not been disappointed and really enjoy the work environment. The work environment is fun and very supportive. I receive encouragement from both co-workers and management and I never feel too much work pressure to meet stringent timelines. CASCO feels more like a family with their flexible work culture, which makes employees feel loyal towards the organization.
I received a lot of help from my colleagues and manager during my initial days with the company which made me feel very comfortable. The communication is always open and the managers often recognize and show appreciation for our efforts, which encourages us to push the extra mile to work harder.
I am thankful to have such a knowledgeable, yet friendly group of people to work with in my team. I have learned a lot from them. Everyone in the team is ready to take the initiative to get things done and support each other. The independence I am afforded in this company is incredible. The goals are clear, realistic, and achievable and yet the brainstorming sessions at times keeps my work more interesting every day.
Thanks CASCO for this wonderful opportunity and for making me a part of this family.
